As software industry maturing, it is need of hour to bring focus to the business or business units. till few year back, entire organizations used to work under one business units. CoE has enabled organizations to bring focus to various processes, domains and allowing distribution of work across various CoE resulting in more gross margins and higher ROI to organizations and in effect to the end customers. Lot of organizations have setup their CoE, that are part of the organization but sometimes operate on their individual vision, culture and specialization. Some of the areas where CoE are built are Testing services, Data warehousing centers, Professional services, Technical support etc. With this organization have much more control and focus and at the same time allow them to execute projects smoothly with collaboration to various CoE. Project tasks are distributed across CoE or if any specialized service needs to be provided, it is done from respective CoE.

This will definitely increase the efficiency of the delivery process and will certainly create new dimensions in which business can be conducted in future.
